Noble House Hotels & Resorts and The Portofino Hotel & Marina proudly announce the debut of Portofino Pours, an interactive, self-pour taps wall open to the public. Launching today, Portofino Pours will be the first hotel amenity of its kind in the region, offering guests a new level of control and choice in their imbibing experience.

With Portofino Pours, guests age 21+ can take charge of their beverage journey by visiting the front desk for a limitless luxurious Reidel glassware and wristband, which will be connected to their tab. The taps wall, installed by iPourIt, is nestled in the hotel’s recently renovated Living Room overlooking King Harbor.

This innovative feature offers six different taps of beer, wine, and house-made cocktails, which will rotate by season and availability. The first lineup includes:

  • Sparkling Wine from Gambino

  • Pinot Noir from Elouan

  • Chardonnay from Chalk Hill

  • Craft Beer featuring NobleWolf Pilsner

  • Session IPA with CannonBall Run IPA

  • Portofino’s Signature Cocktail: House-Made Baleen Margarita

Guests can take advantage of Tappy Hour daily from 9 P.M. – 12 A.M. with a 30% discount on all selections.

“Portofino Pours promises to elevate events and gatherings hosted at the hotel,” says Drew Berry, General Manager. “From weddings, to corporate gatherings, and date nights, now guests select their drink of choice on their own terms before and after standard bar hours. This allows all of-age guests to pour at their own pace and sip on their own time. No long lines to wait in. In addition, these days, people are all about variety, and this gives you the opportunity and experience of sampling up to 6 different beverages, before finally deciding which pour you want to explore”.

“Our partnership with Portofino demonstrates the power of innovation in hospitality and automation,” says Chris Braun, CEO, iPourIt. “Their forward-thinking approach has allowed us to implement a solution that elevates the guest experience and benefits their operation by increasing efficiency and decreasing costs. We’re excited to see the positive impact.”

Portofino Pours is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at The Portofino Hotel & Marina, located at 260 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. For more information, visit www.hotelportofino.com/ and follow the hotel on Instagram at @portofinohotel.

Great Vegas Festival of Beer returns this spring with Nevada’s largest craft beer festival to date, for the first time expanding to two days on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8, with more than 10,000 attendees expected throughout both days. Produced by Motley Brews and set to the backdrop of Downtown Las Vegas, the seventh annual Great Vegas will offer tastings of more than 500 craft beers from 110 breweries.

“Great Vegas Festival of Beer was founded to enhance the beer drinking experience,” said Brian Chapin, founder and CEO of Motley Brews. “This year we’re taking that premise to a new level through the addition of a Friday night event, the Mad Craft Experience, that is basically a science fair for beer lovers. Both days will go beyond samplings to explore new types of experimentation with beer.” Chapin demonstrated Las Vegas’ thirst for craft beer with the inaugural Great Vegas Festival of Beer in 2011, which quickly sold out to more than 2,000 attendees. The event has grown from year to year, prompting an expansion to two days in 2017.

Mad Craft Experience

The new Mad Craft Experience will be held from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, April 7. The food and beer-inclusive event will host various experimentations with beer pairing top chefs and brewers, as well as rare pours and special guests. The Great Vegas Grand Tasting will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, with early entry at 2 p.m. Throughout both days, Great Vegas will offer beer-infused and inspired cuisine by some of Las Vegas’ top chefs, life-sized pub games and interactive entertainment.

Tickets

Tickets for the Mad Craft Experience start at $70 plus fees.  Tickets start at $40 plus fees for Saturday’s Grand Tasting, providing access to the festival from 3 to 7 p.m. along with a tasting glass, unlimited beer samples and entertainment options including a silent disco, BrewLogic seminars and more. Early admission tickets are also available, providing entry at 2 p.m., priced at $50 plus fees.

VIP tickets to the Grand Tasting, Great Vegas’ most coveted credential, are priced at $85 plus a service fee, and include early entry at 2 p.m., access to the VIP Brewers Lounge, which includes a rotating tap of limited release and rare beers, a decadent spread of top-notch cuisine prepared by celebrated Las Vegas chefs, a lounge area and more. VIP tickets are limited. Tickets are available for purchase now at www.greatvegasbeer.com.

Charities…

A portion of the proceeds from the event always benefit local non-profits. Last year’s charities included the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation and Nevada Craft Brewers Association.  More information about Great Vegas Festival of Beer is on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @MotleyBrews, or on the website at www.greatvegasbeer.com/.
